What you don't measure, you can't manage or defend

Most buildings

don’t know

their air quality

What you don't measure,

you cannot manage or defend.

Indoor air is rarely tested, yet it directly affects the health, focus and wellbeing of everyone in your space.

Most organizations discover a problem only when employees start raising concerns. By then, the exposure has already happened

A legal exposure you may not know you have

LSST Art. 51 requires employers to ensure a safe environment for their employees. Without data, you cannot demonstrate due diligence and you cannot defend yourself if an issue arises.

Elevated CO₂, volatile compounds and fine particles directly affect concentration, health and comfort. Most organizations only discover it when employees start complaining.

A reputational risk that is becoming public

ESG reporting now requires verifiable environmental data. Regulators are raising the bar on workplace health standards. Buildings are being rated on their environmental performance.

Legal exposure

Employers are legally required to ensure a safe indoor environment for their teams. Without documented data, demonstrating due diligence under LSST Art. 51 is impossible

Asset performance

Buildings are increasingly rated and disclosed on their environmental performance. Tenants, investors and insurers are starting to ask questions that require real data to answer

Rising standards

Health Canada and ASHRAE define clear thresholds for acceptable indoor air quality. Meeting them consistently requires continuous monitoring, not periodic spot checks.

ESG accountability

Sustainability commitments require verifiable environmental data. Organizations that cannot substantiate their claims face increasing regulatory and reputational scrutiny.

Your questions, answered

Answers to the most common questions our customers have. If you don’t find the information you’re looking for, please contact us.

What happens during the 2-week audit?

We install compact wireless sensors in the areas where your people spend the most time. Over 2 weeks, we collect continuous data on CO₂, fine particles, volatile compounds, humidity and temperature. You receive a full report with findings, benchmarks and prioritized recommendations.

Is the installation disruptive?

Not at all. Sensors are wireless and battery-powered. Installation takes under 30 minutes and requires no drilling, no wiring and no IT involvement. Your team keeps working without interruption.

What kind of issues can you detect?

We measure the five parameters that most directly affect occupant health and regulatory compliance: CO₂ levels, fine particles (PM2.5), volatile organic compounds, humidity and temperature. Most organizations are surprised by what continuous data reveals compared to a one-time test.

Who is this for?

Alvea works with employers, building owners and operators responsible for commercial spaces where people work, receive care or learn. If you have an obligation to the people in your space and no data to back it up, this is for you.
